Year 5 Area

Welcome to the Year 5 page. Here, you will find all the information you need to know about what we will be doing in Year 5 this term.

Year 5 marks the beginning of Upper Key Stage Two, which means that they are nearing the end of their primary school journey! There is so much to look forward to this year: an exciting new curriculum, opportunities to explore our local community and lots of practical learning opportunities.

Throughout the year, we will be doing our best to consolidate their learning from Year 4, and to establish any gaps that they may have - which we will work to close. Daily repetition of key skills will be vital. As a result, our curriculum will be fluid, to ensure your children become confident, resilient and independent learners, ready for their final year!
